I was in the local hardware shop today and spied a set of steps that with a small modification are pretty good for the camper

A big weekend cutting out the sides for the roof rack and doing mountings for them.

With the roof cladding finally finished, all of the cladding is on the camper. How good is that!

Installed the air conditioner along with a few finishing touches to the roof area.

Starting to add the corner moulding to the Camper. Really chuffed how its looking afterwards!

Looks very nice! The Sikaflex should hold up well for off-roading, but let us know in a year or two if the bond holds well enough to stay put after banging around on the road & off. Really like the way this one came together & how solid it is. I think there's a lot of spring under that body, for bumps & travel.

Wondering about the rolling weight, 1,000K, or is it less?

I agree, the sikaflex is made for truck and bus body fixing so should be suitable but as you say time will tell. Although these are only light pieces and no different to vehicle trim that get held on with 3M tape.

Camper is about 660kg currently (1455lb).
