The build

Postby GDSav » Mon Apr 26, 2021 7:00 pm

Hi everyone! I am finally posting my build. I started the project during Christmas 2019. I liked Steve Fredericks Rondack Lodge so I purchased the plans, studied them for a year, and took the plunge and bought a mig welder. Fast forward to April 2021 and i'm half way through, I think!
I did a few mods to the plans, of course and am quite happy with the turnout so far. Here is a SketchUp pic of the camper side view with the wall removed:

Hope I did the upload right.

So far I have the frame, galley and floor built. Currently working on the right side wall and electrical. I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how.
This first post is kinda a test to see what Images doing so bare with me.

Very nice. Is that a standy? Or a crouchy?

Happy building.

It's kinda both. There is a drop floor in the centre as you walk in. You can go the left an sit on the bed or to the right and sit down in the galley. The drop floor is also waterproofed and drained to the outside so it will act as a shower, if needed.

I was just about to order the plans for this one. Are you happy with them?
