Bob,

Not very much, as it needs a complete rebuild (as almost all do).
While the condition may look "fair" at first glance, I'm seeing a lot of damage.
Be careful...

I payed 350 for our 63. It looked in great shape with only a small floor issue. Ummmmmm? Complete new floor walls have patches and a new roof with supports.

Looks like a decent project though if someone were looking for one (me). I'm planning a winter long project, this might be the way to go.

Seriously, the metal all looks good, all fixtures / windows / glass are in place and in tact, the inside doesn't appear to be heavily modified, though the roof appears to be sagging in the vent area / ceiling rot, which is no big surprise for this sort of thing (probably because of the weight of the bricks). It looks like a good "pattern" for a rebuild. Nice "industrial" protective cage around the propane tanks. I'm thinkin', what,2-300 bucks? (only if they throw in the bricks)
At least you've found someone willing to sell. Everyone down here don't want to sell it, guess they'd rather leave it to rot in the fence row. But I guess you have the option to do that when it's yours. :CC

When I buy a Scotty I look at the floor. If its OK that's a big plus as far as a rebuild goes. then the cushions (but that rarely works out)

Scottys were marketed as an affordable, Garage able trailer. And thats why a lot of them have survived...they spent the first half of there life inside.

And they are a very nice trailer. Its just a shame they were built like Crap.

A nice "basic" 13' Scotty restoration, not a "Spit & Polish" can go for about $5000 =/- and up from there depending what kind of "Glitz" you put into it. I'd work it from there.

I've started with less.

I dont think it's a 63, more like a 65/67 It's my understanding that they didn't have that style main door until 1965. Plus it has the triangle trim pice on the bottom right of the door, 63s don't have that.
Anyway I would pay up to $1200. bucks for it, if it were in my neighborhood. :D

Wayne is correct. Back in 63 Scotty did have a dropped interior floor but you had to step up into it before stepping down into it.

1964 was a very transitional year for Scotty. Some had it, some didn't, goofy colors, the HiLander...bump behind the door, some with the bump in front of the door, They tried a 13' Hilander, Mattress model, Goucho, and so on. Only the stamping on the tongue can verify a 1964, and that only verifys when it was stamped....could have been an older one.

My guess is 65 or up. It looks the same as my 66.

It doesn't matter though, the one pictured is a lot more convenient, a definite Plus.

This is the Passengers side of a 1963.

I paid 400 for my 68 Sportsman 15 years ago.. It needed a gutting but got a masonite reskin and turquoise paint job on the inside to make it useable..So far it changed hands at least twice since I sold it 7 years ago for $1200..

I really think what its worth to you..If gutting and bringing it back to life is something you dream about go for it..Alot of work but they are always the center of attention at campgrounds.
