If it's still in that condition, it's been 11 years since those photos were taken. A lot can happen in 11 years.

A new camera now starts with the date of 2002. If the owner of a new camera doesn't take the time to change the date, then it will just continue from this starting date. Also, a new camera does use the "unusual" format of dd/mm/yyyy, instead of the "usual" mm/dd/yyyy. Just something to think about.

Also, the area code for the contact phone number is the one for the Danville, Illinois area.

Could it be a scam? Sure. But, I always like when the area code matches with the area.

I'm not interested in the TTT, but if I were, I would certainly at least try calling.
