That's the point. It's only $2700 today. I don't think you could build this yourself for $2700 in materials alone, forget your "free" labor.

And I've never seen a pre-built camper this cheap.

Well just goes to show that you to don't know what you're talking about. I rebuilt a Kit Kamper from the ground up for under $2500. And I didn't buy any of my plywood from a 'Big Box' store. You can see how I did it HERE. You can also see how I built my teardrop for under $3000 HERE. Take a look

Some people are God like and others mere mortals. If your labor and time mean nothing then they are close. Some don't have the time or talent to build their own trailers. For some a dry place to sleep in a simple trailer for 2700.00 bucks may be just right. What fits for some may not be right for another. If it's not for you just pass on by. No need to insult people.
