Kelty Tailgater awning

After dragging teardrops for over ten years, I think I've found the perfect awning––at least for us. It's the Kelty Tailgater. High quality, easy-–and quick--for one person to set up, and fits over the hatch of a 4' or 5' wide teardrop as if it were made for the purpose.

Note the poles are held up by clips not sleeves. Much quicker.

Here's the problem: Kelty quit making them. However one just popped up on eBay (and no, this isn't my auction nor do I know this person).

There's a video review or two on Youtube if you get a bit more curious.

I bought one of the few remaining ones last year. I do like it.

Thanks for posting. It now will belong to me. Have desired one of these this fall, then found out they no longer are available. Yippee.posting.php?mode=smilies&f=52#

We have a couple of the ones from anaconda, that we use for side awnings and are very happy with them. We bought them at different times and had to get friends to bring them over from Australia with their luggage as the cost to get them posted was outrageous. They were on sale at about Aus$89 each but shipping was going to be over $100. :frightened: :frightened: There are others available in NZ, but they dont have the side panels, only the back and top. We picked one of these up at FCO on a really good special for $20.00 ;) http://www.tnttt.com/gallery/album.php?album_id=3102

The little one works like an umbrella, really quick and easy to use. They all have suction cups to stick them to the roof.
