1959 Layton in the shop repairs

Friend brought his 10 ft Layton by for some repairs. Pretty cool little standy, and in really good shape.

That is a nice canned ham. I'd really like to have something like that.

From what I can tell from the picture, the frame looks interesting. It appears that the entire must step down between the axle and the door and that this lower "platform" extends to the front of the cabin. From this it looks like there is a rise in the a-frame.

Could you say if I'm seeing this correctly please?
