Hi prohandyman,

Good luck on your rebuild.

What's the blue unit behind it? The window look to be early 1950s.

That looks like an attractive trailer. I'm looking forward to seeing some inside pictures plus pictures of the restoration and its process.

Congrats! :applause:

Norm
The blue trailer is a '52 Spartan that someone painted. Not mine.
Sharon
I think we are going to tear down to the frame and rebuild completely. Polished sides, vintage look birch interior, etc. Right now interior is pretty lame, and lots of rotten wood and framing. Windows, trim, door, and sink re-usable, but not much else. Cushions are present but may recover in vintage material.

Here a pic and a link to photobucket pics...alot of new wood! As it stands now...bigger bath closet with rv toilet, sink, stove and fridge gone, bigger bed, new cabinets, new countertops and table, new flooring, polished aluminum sides and ends, new wiring and lights in and out, 12 volt furnace, a/c. Phew...who was it that promised my son these things?

Wall rebuilt, insulated, and lower aluminum skin on. Back side is rebuilt also, as is water closet, bed, and storage cabinet. Top is coming off next to replace a few spars, and install addt'l wiring and FantasticVent

Fully insulated, new skins on, polishing front and back, getting ready for edge trim, new roof vent, then on to interior. Picked up SS drawer pulls and table edging, LED exterior lights, shore power plug, new edge trim.

Dan,

It looks great!

What was the foil, or foil insulation on the framing for, to stop cold transfer?
