Well, we are now the happy owners of our very own vintage travel trailer. It's an Oasis Seventeen Six. Isn't she pretty?

There isn't a whole lot of info that we can find on Oasis trailers, and there was absolutely zero documentation that came with her. We reckon she's a '57 - '61 since there's no "air foil" on the rear. If anyone can identify the year more specifically, or provide any info on the Oasis', it would be much appreciated. Now all we have to do is do some cleaning and fixing and go have adventures.

You will find some info here http://www.tincantourists.com/wiki/doku.php?id=oasis
Juergen Eichenmueller sells CD;s on e-bay.http://tinyurl.com/432g3c5
Oasis will not be one of them. Select one that might be of interest and order it. When you fill out the order form ask him to include anything he has on Oasis. He will add any old articles or ads from old RV magazines. He used to do that at no extra charge What you get will be well worth the price

Thank you!

this trailer also has a very small lav with a teeny porcelain toilet (looks toddler sized) and a shower.

I like it! And you have a nice chunk of counterspace in the kitchen.

I'm also planning on building a stove cover and sink insert to extend the counter space.
