How do I deal with Tyvek around windows?

Postby Bellinghamster » Fri Jan 13, 2012 12:57 am

I put a layer of Tyvek over the frame before I put the aluminum skin back on my 1959 Cat-O-Lac DeVille. Now that it's time to put the windows back in, I don't know what to do about the Tyvek, and how to finish everything off around the windows. Any tips?

Here's what I've got at present:

What we typically do in the trades is cut the tyvec angular from the 4 corners and fold the pieces in, staple it to the studs and cut off the excess.
