So I saw this on CL yesterday from a guy who seems to collect older trailers and sell them and I thought it was kind of cool.Just want to see your guys thoughts on using this as something to redo and turn into a retro but cool trailer with some modern amenities mixed in.....http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/rvs/4035941666.html

I've never seen an Ideal TT in person, but do remember reading very
positive reviews on them in the trailers mags of the 1960s
and 1970s. They were considered a quality built TT in their day.
This one looks like it is in exceptional condition, for its age. The
pics only show a bit of water damage under the corner of one of the
front windows. If you have the tow vehicle that can handle it, and
it has a reasonable price, it'd probably be a good one to restore or
refurbish. It seems to be in too good of shape to just demo or part
out. Just inspect it in person before making any commitments/purchase.

Thanks for the response.Yeah my plan for it if I ended up getting it would be to use it for a rebuild.I agree it looks to good to rip apart completely.

It does look very nice but that means you should check it very carefully. Some sellers will hide problems instead of fixing them.
But it is a good looking prospect
