Converted a 6x8 pop up trailer to a standee. I had to replace the axle from 1500 to 3500 lbs torsion type. A word of advice, don't buy axles from Amazon/Northern Tool/ Dexter. I waited a month then Amazon canceled the order. I found the perfect axle from Southwest Wheel. Made to my frame width and shipped in 3 days. Cost a bit more, i'm real happy with them. Anyway I had to augment the frame where it bolts to the axle. Now it spreads the weight over a larger chunks of metal. My little trailer is small and heavy I'm real happy. :D

Next time i'm building the frame custom.
