@Shadow, just trying to figure out stoves right now as well. How often do you use all three burners?

Everyone else....2 burners or 3 and why?

I just have 2 burners, cause I wanted the camp chef oven, and it came with 2. There are times when both are full and a third would be nice, but most of the 3 burner stoves have them so close together I'm not sure you can really use them as 3 burners. I think if I needed a third burner frequently I would use one of these. https://express.google.com/product/9657 ... mpaign=gsx

I pretty much never need more than two burners. Most of the time it's just one but that really depends on how you cook. Camp chef two burner is my go to, although I've been looking at one of those single burner butane ones posted above. I foeget the manufacturer, but somebody makes those that run on either butane or propane.

If you have an Asian market you can find those butane single burner stoves cheap. And the butane fuel is so much cheaper than anyplace online. I have also seen them in double burner stoves. Great little stoves, but they struggle above 11'000 feet.
