Plumbing up a drop-in propane stove / cooktop

Why does that hose from eBay need modification? I guess I don't understand what you're trying to do.

Can you post a photo of where you want to insert the hose, or just pix of the connectors?

Pretty much anything to do with propane costs extra because of safety regulations regarding how the hoses are attached to the connectors. Be prepared.

I managed to rob my barbeque grill of the hose that goes to the side burner I never use. I pluged that hacked off hose end up (yes I checked for leaks) and cut the hard line and using my flaring tool, I flared the ends and used hose clamps to make a flex hose (and yes I checked that hose for leaks too). I hooked up 2 air compressors in a similar fasion so I figured it would work for a propane bottle. I just wish I would have put a 90 degree bend in the tubing before I cut it. But its an improvement
