Go to Google and look up Atwood Rv furnace and search under fuel consumption.

A typical RV with a furnace can operate off a single 20# cylinder and regulator. Plus a 12 VDC supply. How long it will run depends on many factors; insulation, degree of coldness, size of battery capacity, etc. But it is not magic.
