After a partial foamy build and a lot of trial and error, I finally decided to go a different route. I was trying to build a compact camper I could pull with my Honda Silverwing 600 maxi scooter.
In the end I decided to mount a hard shell roof top tent on a small trailer frame, which total weighs 240 lbs, light enough to tow with my bike.
I have four intact whole sheets, 1 whole sheet broken in half and multiple parts of sheets of 3” thick XPS foam insulation, e. They’ve sat outside uncovered for two years so they’re not in perfect shape, but they are definitely usable. I also have two sheets that were curved and first layer of pmf applied.
