It's yet another big advantage of a Foamie!! I dented it with my knee rolling over to apply the Elastomeric coating on the bottom (looked like a baseball hit it). I cannot find the dent now! So can testify that it does indeed heal itself!

Also been sleeping in it, via camp backyard. Sleeps great! Just my body heat seems to warm it up. Been surprised to open the door in the mornings to find crisp COLD breezy air and frozen dew on the camper exterior, when I was so warm and cozy inside. Have seen that rain runs off it, like a duck.

My inside walls that I worked so hard on, to eliminate the printing....are incredibly even and smooth, they look like drywall. The soft brown interior color, the indirect lighting, Carnegie Hall acoustics, coupled with the Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker...

I am really loving it! It has exceeded my own expectations.

The vertical window, on the drivers' side is perfectly placed for stargazing.

The rear wall vertical window that is covered by the overhang, has also proven itself. On a rainy night where I could not open the other windows, the covered window could be opened wide...w/o rain splatter coming in.

Cheers, all...!

I love my #2 solo travel. Sleeping in dust free bed, no tent to set up, so light you don't know it is there. Foamies are just wonderful...

Had my Trailer weighed today:

760 pounds.

That had my bedding, and maybe 1/4 of the stuff that I will be bringing along. I would say fully loaded it will be 100 to 125 pounds more.

Here we are, all dressed up and no where to go! May 13th and no word from USDA on opening the NF campgrounds, yet.

Image

There is a little rise (hill) to get to my backyard. Wife and I cannot muscle the camper up the hill to the backyard, now that it is finished. So...

Image

I bolted on a winch today. Hook up to the shed in the backyard and the winch pulls it up there, no sweat!

I am ready to go! All I need now is opened campgrounds! So for now...it's Camp Backyard!!

Yes, agree!! And "Camp Backyard" is helping me get the interior configured exactly as I want it.

All the License Plate facilities have been closed here for months as well. When they reopen, expect it will be a zoo, for weeks on end...

Cheers!

Looks outstanding! Also, I've have the same issue as well with registration. Oh well, I'll just sneak my old trailer plate onto the new one for the short term ;)

Solo camping trip #3 has been completed. Here is "Foamie-4-1" parked in it's space at a USDA CG in Colorado:

I love the way it tows! So well behaved and easy to tow.

Just me and the pup, and miles of trails:

I love going "during the week" - many fewer humans:

Got up early and went for Sunrise photos, but the sunrises were not all that spectacular:

This is a cell phone picture and used one of those "surreal filters":
