Worked more on the floor today. It will have vinyl flooring on top of what you see here.

I have decides to use drywall tape and the edging to make the inside joins more square. There's also going to be some areas where copious amounts of gorilla glue will be needed to back fill gaps. Been a good day.

I taped off the wall area prior to laying down the canvas.

Here' the tack layer going on.

You may want to use Great Stuff spray foam for gap filling .... lots cheaper than the Gorilla , plenty strong and sticky ( just foam eh ) ...

Duh. I meant Great Stuff. I have a bit more trimming and fixing on the cabin and it will be time to marry the floor and cabin.

Have you started anything on the galley addition yet? I guess it makes more sense to do that once the cabin is back on the floor. Just curious and looking forward to your next progress update!

I have it more or less planned. The frig will extend into the cabin by 4 inches. I am working out the sliding tray for it. Shelves above. Battery to the right of the fridge and electrics on the right.

The cabin may not be exactly 4x8, so I thought I'd adjust with the galley. Plus, I need access to the back wall to fill gaps.

You “could” add a slide out of sorts  ... Lately I was thinking about a "slide out" galley ... and as you slide it out it exposes a small exhaust fan for cooking ... 85116

Here's the drivers side:

I'm looking for suggestions. Do I carve that bit away? There is some play in the walls, but not that much. I am concerned that much of a ledge would attract and channel water.

Everything else sits true, or true enough. That made me very happy.

I posted this in the updates thread. I am so excited! Glue up won't happen just yet. I have to finish the solar bits first.
