W’ that looks like some wing light wiring we used to do ... Just an idea , if you mount the lights (LED I assume) in white plastic bottle tops , it illuminates a bigger area and you have a nice “fixture” for the light ... sorta’ like a Thrifty reflector ... worked great on planes at night ...

Now it will match the jeep better too. If you did not know, the trapezoid wheel well is a Jeep trademark as well as the 7 slot grill.

that isn't true on ALL jeeps, CJ's had round rear wheel openings.

but I agree it matches his jeep and the camper better with the trapezoidal

Looking good :applause:

Wasn't it the early Willy's P/U's that had the trapezoidal fenders that are typically referred to as "jeep" fenders by trailer suppliers?

Progress looks good.

True. Not all jeeps have seven slot grills also, but in most cases they will have a trapezoid wheel well (front, rear or both) or seven slot grills. Especially after the Chrysler buy out. I do know of one Jeep that has neither design elements.

Jeep also tried to get an injunction against Hummer to prohibit Hummer's use of a grill design similar to Jeep's design. Jeep's request was denied in federal district court and the appeals court decided to not hear the case as I recall.

July 31 update...

I worked on the trailer all last weekend and three hours or so every night after work. Getting tired. :NC
Vacation starts on Saturday and this trailer is going camping on Sunday!
Inside wont be done but there will be a bed, icebox and kitchen counter (of some sort).

Top is painted white with two coats, (sorry no pcs yet), and bottom Grey will go on today. (Thanks wife!!)

Exterior Lights tonight then off to get legal work done on Thursday or Friday.

Warren

Couple of :pictures:

Front canvas going on. Lifted nose up so bottom canvas would stay in place better.
110437

If I'm laying on the floor,,, it's playtime!
110438

Canvas work done and coat of primer.
110439

Test fitting the frame for the kitchen door. I have a window to go in this door but I dont think it will happen before the first trip.
