Tac,

That's exactly what I have... Aluminum on the bottom, gray on the top

Here's my test piece

Image

And I talked to the boss this evening, and aluminum was the one she liked the best. So with the paint choice resolved, now I am looking for suggestions for artwork!

P.S. Don't forget to go back one page and look at my last 3 pics! :pictures:

I see a bald eagle's head. More of a caricature like this: http://previews.123rf.com/images/tribalium123/tribalium1231208/tribalium123120800350/14974403-Eagle-head-Stock-Vector-cartoon.jpg

I was hoping to be able to reverse the image and superimpose it on your profile picture, but alas, I do not possess the combination of skill and software that would allow me to do that.

If undecided , might be best to leave it all Silver (aluminum) for now ... that’s a Classic look by itself and The overall shape of the trailer is quite Nice so no real decoration is absolutely necessary ... Actually from a distance it would be difficult to tell that it’s not an Aluminum trailer ... 8) :applause:

My guess is 500 pounds. Yes, it's quite easy to pull around the driveway!

Actually, I squinted at the profile pic and saw the shape of the eagles head, so I envisioned it being more like a full mural effect using the profile to define the shape of the eagle head outline.

In other words, the tip of the beak would be at the lowest front corner, and the nape of the neck would be at or near the bottom rear of the hatch. The outline
of the eagle would more or less fill the profile. Big bold and patriotic. Not so much silver, although it could be done that way tone on tone, or just the dark lines over silver. Also not just some applied graphic that looks like it was an after thought. No offense intended if that is what people like, just saying that the goal of a graphic is to pull the design together and integrate a theme, while still breaking up a big blank surface.

Regarding the big blank surface .... As we’ve grown Old , we noticed a curious fact that old people became Invisible ... and could wander about pretty much ignored and untended . Sometimes that seems a good idea when traveling ... Sort of ... “ The Mad Dash “ incognito ... having the effect of ... “ these are not the droids we are looking for ... Move along !!! “
In a world ... STEALTH !!! 8) :shhh: Seen but not noticed...

Mike , That will work !!! 8) Or even bigger to fill out the profile like KC said ( fudge the outline to fit the trailer profile ) ... :applause:

That looks good Mike and is about what I had in mind, but you could also...
GPW wrote:...fudge the outline to fit the trailer profile...
a little more, too.

I think either way would look great!

Of course I would understand completely and would not be offended if this is not to your taste. No hassles.

I like that too... If you could get the eyes to lay where the door windows are would be cool too...
