Great Job!!! and I know it is a job. On those bubbles you can probably use an iron and use the edge of it and pullover the material very slowly. I used push pins, lots of pushpins to hold up the material on the curves. I love the color. a real glampete camper!!! I like it!!!

I know I sholud get more pictures. I'm a terrible slacker but here's the update on what's done now.

I have the whole inside covered with canvas. I cut more bias strip to do the join from the wall to the ceiling inside. It looks good.

Friday night I'm going to do all the detail gluing of edges. I need to cut the fabric over the window openings and get all that folded and lapped in some sort of orderly process. Also the very front bottom corners. once they're trimmed up I'll take the end of the outside fabric skin and glue it to the inside fabric skin (I've already got it folded inside)

I've been super happy with the bias tape covering of things so I might just cut more bias tape for that the surface where the walls end and the hatch will eventually close.

I'm going to keep the flowers in a few places (back wall of the galley so it will show when the hatch is up) and the back of the over foot cabinets. So it will show in some places. But mostly I plan to prime the trailer this weekend in white. From there I will decide what color it's going to be when it's done based on how covering the fabric goes. I've got pretty good primer, so hopefully it will hide the under color well.

Here's the current state of the inside. This is all about to change again of course. If you look right up near the front you can see where I pulled the outer covering between the foam and the metal on the trailer and temporarily stapled it to the deck. I'm going to trim all that and glue it to the inside fabric so the whole bottom edge of the foam will be wrapped from outside in.

You can see the bias tape joining the ceiling linen and the wall linen. Bias tape goes so nicely around curves and things so it made a much cleaner edge than I could have done lapping either to the ceiling or to the wall from the other.

124641 I just went right over the windows and doors. This evening I'm going to cut them out and fold and glue down the flaps. Also all the little trim flappy bits.

I have to say when the outside was covered and I was sanding the inside I was REALLY worried about how floppy all my kerfs were. I am not worried now the whole front is very stiff.

The more I use bias tape the more I love it. Does anybody want me to do a quick bias tape making tutorial? I've got to make some more tonight maybe I'll take pictures.

You did the inside with the flower print! Cool!
It reminds me of some of the wall paper in my childhood bedroom.
I hope you don't cover up the inside, unless it's with a clear coating.

Not posting because I am working. But the outside and the inside are primed.

I have been reading consumer reports on house paint.

I did the photos for the bias tape tutorial.

Tonight I finally screwed the deck to the frame. And test fitted one fender.

This weekend paint!

Their recommended top choice was Behr Premium Plus Ultra Flat Enamel (Home Depot) followed by the much more expensive but also well rated Benjamin Moore Aura Flat, and Sherwin-Williams Duration Flat (and one California super low VOC paint) they recommended. So I think I'll be giving the Behr a try. It resists mildew and dirt and scored an 86 on their scale.

They had some sort of simulated wear system and compared them at 3, 6 and 9 years of wear.

So I guess that's nice to know.

Also I am clearly not getting around to getting my pictures up here, but that doesn't mean you should all be deprived! https://picasaweb.google.com/1060478716 ... rdropStuff they're all hanging out here including many you've already seen. The newest ones are at the end.

I'll get them over here eventually.

So what color do I paint it? I had been thinking white mostly with navy near the bottom sort of like Road Foamie.

But that would be copying. Maybe pale blue?
