Thanks Eagle ... we all miss her :( ... first Toad I ever knew that made intelligent choices .... but then I’ve never had a pet toad before ... maybe all life forms are intelligent to some degree and we just don’t know it .... except my dog ... DUMB!!!

Planovet,

Your Monte looks just like our Tang. Tang is a monster of a cat, when he was a kitten we hand fed the entire litter when mom ran off and left them. He took twice as much liquid nourishment as the rest of the litter. He's such a ball of fur, we have him shaved down, he's happier, my allergies are happier and the wife is happier since there is a lot less orange fur on everything in the house.

Louella, what fun. Hope your grandson had a wonderful time. Is he riding a Haflinger?

My PJ is a Haflinger. He was just working a little while ago to add some comic relief to an otherwise very sad scene. Today I had to say goodbye to his barnmate, Squiggy the goat. He had been my pet for 14 years, much loved & will be very missed.

Here's PJ:

And was little Squiggy:

So sorry to hear about Squiggy. Beautiful goat!
Yes, she is a Hafie and my grandson had a blast! This was only the second time he was put on her, so we were really thrilled with the placings in the classes. The grandson really had no idea what was going on and that he was being judged. There were two times he just let go of the reins and acted like he was an airplane. Of course that cost him points and lower in the placings.

The pic of yours looks like a baby still. Those haflingers are something aren't they? :wine:

This is for all you Boston Terrier fans...

I'm not a fan of dressing dogs up in costumes, and this is not my pet,
but this is one of the cutest dog pics I've ever seen:

And he has a great name to go with it too - "Smoochy" !
As seen here:

[Found while researching online for some Boston Terrier breeders.]

Cheers,

Thought I would introduce our two dogs

This is my youngest sons dog Dixie, he is in the army and she misses him. She really does not know why anyone would go camping with a comfy bed at home. No idea what mix she is.

Then there is Lance, Great Labradane (mutt) Anywhere I go he is willing to try including a tippy canoe. Way to much dog for me but we are figuring out how to make it work. We are currently working on Rally training and I may show him in Rally but we will see.

O.K., here they are. It is such a pain getting them not to get into each other's pictures.

Our Minpin, Harley. When the breeder had him docked, one of his ears got messed up. A freebie, his ear caused the breeder to stop docking her pups.

Image

The big boy pug, Maverick (all 30# of him). AKA Fat Boy, Stinky, Fred Sanford (Bug Eyed Fool), and my personal favorite, Jaba the Mutt.

Image

And now the troublemaker of the family, Ginger. Don't let that innocent face fool you.

This is Nixon (english springer spaniel) on a bike trip into Herbert Glacier near Juneau this summer. He is 10 months old now and is a great camper!
