It’s usually a good long drive from anywhere to here... :frightened: Then once you get here it’s another long drive to the house ... living on the very outskirts of town... :o

It’s been like a test for folks trying to find me ... Although I offer directions, some choose to go it by themselves and use GPS ... Only a few have made it without calling from 2 blocks away saying “ I’m Lost and GPS shows I’m in the middle of Nowhere ! “ ... :frightened: Which it IS the middle of nowhere !!!

though I think it would a shame to sell the foamie, sometimes you need to do things to ensure domestic tranquility. (And to make room for more stuff!) The contributions the foamie made to the cause will always be memorialized here on these pages, so it's not like it's gone forever...

I would sell. Sometimes it seems to be the wrong thing to do, but then once it is gone you realize you have a load off your mind. I had a Studebaker that was in the family since new, 1960. I finally decided I had to many vehicles and one had to go, actually two. It was sad to see it go, but it went to a good home and I realized I felt so much better not having to worry about it all the time. I felt the same way about a lot of other projects that I have gotten rid of in the last couple of years and you know I just do not miss them. More time and money for other things that are more important to me.

OK, we’re a little better with the idea now ... sorta’... :NC On the other hand it would be really Great to see it get actually USED and camped in !!! 8) That’s what it was built for eh ? ...

Note: I have the same problem with my paintings ... I put a lot of time and thought into them , and then don’t want to sell them ... Not good if you do it for a living ... :duh:

Tried to post last night but my computer had a glitch and I lost the post.
I feel your pain about selling something you have build yourself, I own three motorcycles and there is one that I would never sell but the other two are just machines, if the price is right they would be gone. I would add that if you can sell it to someone who knows the history of it and would respect it for being what it is but also use it for its designed purpose then I think that would 'honor" the trailer. Hope that doesn't sound all melodrama. :D

As for the wives-v-dogs thing. Here is a little test to see who loves you more:
Put both the wife and the dog in the trunk of your car for about an hour, open the truck lid and see who is happier to see you.

If I had a second one (like some 8) ) I would not have a problem selling it. (but I can't imagine anyone buying it) :D :wine:

Sorry , I can’t help being funny , being “generically” crazy and all ... :o I’ll try to tone it down ....

OK, how about a boring narrative of what we have to do to get the Foamie ‘ ready to go ... ? The “list”

First thing is to give it a good wash , just to remove the dust and whatever that’s accumulated on it over the past almost 3 years sitting outside ...and a good pressure washing of that faded Pink HF trailer frame !!! Then I have to change the window and door hinges for new aluminum (non rusting) hinges , and do a little more caulking. Then a coat of the Gripper on the cabin , to provide a good base for the new paint job , which will be coincidentally the same as the FoamStream ( I have that paint and it’s the Good paint ;) ) ...but with a new name... Then a good coat of Rustoleum (although it’s not rusted) Sunrise Red on the HF trailer frame , and it’ll be looking Good as new , which is not saying much as it’s been towed< a mile so far ...(low mileage, owned by an old geezer :laughter: ) ....
The inside is exactly as we left it when new , dry, nothing has changed ...nothing to do really ... 8)

Can’t do any of that today ... it’s Raining and COLD ... again :o ... and supposedly for several more days , so may have to pull the Foamie #1 into the Studio and work on it , but still too cold to paint .... AARGH !!! :duh:
