Hi Bonnie,

I love the Nookery. You have done such a great job and it must be rewarding to be campable. This newbie is very interested in your process - nice problem solving! And I am going to enjoy following your further adventures and solutions while I keep pondering and learning.

I have had several bouts of flu and sinus issues. Not playing in the cold if I can help it. I think I'm on the mend finally.

So, I'm at CRA and here's what I've been up to:

First is a shot of the completed window pull. Works great. Second is a shot of the hook n eye closer. I will be addi g one on the other side. The screen is held in place with Velcro. And the last picture is of my two 120mm case fans temp mounted to the overhead vent. Oh, and one other small improvement:

"I've had several questions and compliments on your handiwork." As one might imagine ... I will try to answer any reasonable question about the construction or design ... Being it was my First Foamie , I went for the most logical design... and still think that shape works pretty darn well for being so Basic ... My only afterthought was to have made it WIDER ... That would be easy to do even now ... split it , add a center section and floor brace... Most anything is possible with Foam ... For one person , it's a nice cozy space (4'W) ... Bit crowded for two , especially when one is the size of a Gorilla ...

So, I've been doing some renovations and thought I would collect the information into this thread.

Here's the discussion about the floor replacement: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=66210#p1172842

Additionally, I am designing and building a galley additon to add to the back of the Nookery. Here's that post from the big thread: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=39373&start=6825#p1169245 and the link to GPW's great suggestion for the addition: http://www.tnttt.com/download/file.php?id=15461

One other thing I'm doing is adding solar capability. Here's that thread: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=66124

Whew! Glad I'm retired. I have a lot to do!
