Okay,

Third one is a charm right?

Here's the third and final profile for my 10' foamie standie. Notice how it was designed to have a 2" foamie roof? (Look at the bottom corners...)

Next step is to glue the pieces together, after I cut the pieces for the other side.

I like the shape! Are ya gonna panel the inside? I'm watching real closely on this one -the mrs said it looks like something that is in our near future 8)

I don't have any thoughts about the inside yet. First I want to see how canvas/TB2 looks and feels. After that we'll make some decisions.

One of the things I was concerned about was how flat the panels would be. Now that they are glued up, I sense they will stay pretty flat.

It's been a long day outside... my feet are killing me. But I had lots of fun!

Both side panels are glued up... It's time to think about filling in the dips. Do I do that before I apply canvas, or inbetween the first and second layers of canvas?

The trailer awaits. I have to move the second cross member rearwards, to allow for an adequate side dropped floor. But other than that, the H.F. 4x8 is pretty much stock, including the location of the axle.

Here's the subfloor that I am going to tackle tomorrow. I ripped all the pieces out of 2x4s. The front and rear pieces have the angles on them already. I'll be attaching the roof foam right to the faces of the front and rear pieces.

If we don't have rain tomorrow I'll continue working on this. More pics tomorrow if you are interested!

Interested ... :o Oh Heck Yeah !!!!! It's coming along really quick... You going to pre cover the outside ... probably easy to do at this stage (flat)... JMHO, I'd lay it out flat , roll on the glue and just lay the canvas into that, trim and let dry... you may have to stretch it a bit so somebody else would be handy... and for the best job , you might ask, beg ,bribe Chell to iron the fabric for you with a steam iron ... if the material was folded then those wrinkles will come out in the finish (subtle )...gotta' get those out if you want a perfect finish .... also good to thoroughly vacuum the foam surface , make sure the canvas stays Clean .... tiny bits of anything turns into a bump ...but you can push in on it and they usually disappear ... best clean from the get go... just trying to be helpful...
