The option I am going to use for the 10' Standie Foamie is Exterior Enamel Paint!

The last two months have been a busy blur for me. Time to get back to my build!

Mike, what weight/type of cloth are you using with the exterior enamel paint?

The test was with 8 oz natural canvas from home depot. The roll of canvas I bought from Rose is 7 oz.

just doing a little clean up on our section. i am thinking of moving this thread over to the sticky section of glues. i will change the title of that thread to include adhevsives.

are there any objections to this?

well i just don't want to do things that other will not like. this isn't just my section. it is our section. so all input is welcomed.

i would hate for this thread to get pushed too far out or down. but if we put it in the sticky section, then it will be much easier for all to find..right?

i wonder do folks really read sticky's?

So I'm really a research geek, but I've been reading all the stickie threads. When I have the $$ to begin my foamie, I'll have all sorts of ideas and stuff. :)

Mike & conedodger. Thanks for doing the samples and for putting them together into a video. The research is very helpful in my getting a design for my lift top, slide in camper organized.

I haven't done the outside yet, but I did do the inside. The paint sticks wonderfully! And furthermore, since the canvas became too heavy to stick to the ceiling when I applied a coat on the outside of the canvas, I just painted the foam with a real heavy layer, stuck the canvas to that and let it dry. It stuck real good. The next day Chell painted the canvas with some purple paint, and the result looks good. All nice and tight and stuck to the foam.
