Gosh , that’s some STICKY tape ... :R

Found my can of same color paint .... going to make a Touch up kit to travel along in the onboard repair kit ... ( just for tape removal :frightened: )
1. small bottle Titebond 2
2. Can of Great Stuff
3. Extra canvas for patching
4. paintbrush , scissors , Utility knife , serrated steak knife ..
5. Container of touch up paint ...
6. Sanding block
7. disposable gloves
All stored in a small bucket suitable for any number of jobs... perhaps a Tupperware container that will fit it all and still have a sealable lid ... that would be Nice ... nothing exotic , just something for basic repairs on the road...

Ps,. We may have found my Nose drip edge material .... Outer canvas from a fire hose :o .... THICK stuff ... Just glue it on and paint it .... pretty stiff already ... And we have some , just hope I have enough ... and we just might ... :woohoo:

Getting ready for who knows what , we just HAD to test out my new Coat hanger antenna for the FS TV ... And whoa , Am I surprised .... :o I was using what was billed as the best store bought passive antenna (bottom of the pic) , and was getting 23 channels .... With the new coat hanger antenna we’re getting 39 channels now .... stuff I’d never seen before and a MUCH Better picture , no occasional pixilation when a bird flew past the window .... WaaaaaY Cool !!! These things really really Work !!! 8) :dancing :dancing :dancing

Well then, this is the final INSULT !!!! Today whilst happily inspecting my dry trailer , i discovered ants had drilled a hole through my 18 oz. canvas, paint primer and T2 and were entering the nose ... :o  GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!! Little Bas***** !!! Now I'm forced to spray poison inside .... I can't believe these ants are that aggressive ... :duh:

Pics will follow the mass poisoning ... Fire ants , They're everywhere here ... Tough little ..... Nasty bite too ... Might as well live in Australia ...

I wonder if you took it out once in a while if that would help. Give them the message that it is not a stable place to build a nest.

While you're out driving around, you could stop for some more ballast and maybe see the sights. If the mood should strike you, you could pull over, set up a chair and have a cold one, maybe take a nap before hitting the road again.

Kind of sounds like camping, I know, but you could call it something else if it feels better!

Those cheeky little devils! I wonder what ever possessed them to bore right thru the middle of a panel like that. Maybe that was where you set your jelly doughnut (...er, beignet  ) down while building?

Argh! Fire ants!!! I hate the little invaders so very much. :x We had to spray the entire underside of my trailer, & any part that touches the ground. Also, had to do the same with my car. It's no fun being stuck in rush hour gridlock with fire ants attacking your feet. WTH?

Had some aggressive carpenter ants move into one of my foam kayaks when it was outside on the trailer. They got into a seam between the layers and we're happily excavating away, based on the foam dust on the ground.
I hadn't put a deck hatch in yet, so that is where they went.
I put the deck hatch on, and they won't be eating anymore. :x

Yeah, but at least it isn't any worse than wood eating ants. :R

Maybe they were looking for a "bugout" trailer for themselves for the next hurricane!

Proverbs 6:6-8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

6 Go to the ant, O sluggard,
Observe her ways and be wise,
7 Which, having no chief,
Officer or ruler,
8 Prepares her food in the summer
And gathers her provision in the harvest.
God Bless

Do you think Proverbs would consider electrical contacts in my A/C unit to be "food"? The blasted fire ants invaded the central A/C units of several homes, mine included, in our neighborhood & blew out some components by clustering on some electrical components. When the HVAC guy told us the source of the problem was ants I thought it was some fairy tale. Neighbor had the same problem, diagnosed & repaired by a different HVAC company. Third neighbor, using a third HVAC company, had same problem. That's an awful lot of fire ants giving their lives to make us miserable in the heat.
