If you're only going to catch one fish, it should be one as nice as that!

And of course the boat looks fantastic as well.

Rosey , why did you keep such a little fish ? :o We must discuss fishing tactics here in LA ... but then you’d need a bigger boat ...

Cool beans. Working on a trailer. Will it have a boat rack on top?

Where did you get your lagging compound?

Hey, Rosey! You've got a fish story with pictures to prove it! Good for you.
I'm guessing that you and your dad have a great relationship and that he is very, very proud of you.

Thanks again for the encouragement!! That was a really fun project!

Wolf,
I think the boat rack is going to go on the truck. My trailer frame is pretty light so I might as well keep as much weight on the truck as possible (so's I can carry the requisite %00 lbs of beer ballast).

I located the lagging compound at a (semi) local company by contacting Childer's 800 number and asking who carried it close by. I thought it worked well but I think I might try the block filler on the trailer. Trying to have it campable by the time I leave for vacation July 17th. :worship: I'll start a new thread and post some pictures of my progress so far. :)

Now this is weird... I’ve been asked to develop a model Foamie sailboat to train new RC sailors ... Will apply proven Foamie principles ... should be fun , and if I can make a little one , then a big one won’t be far behind... Another project !!
