Interiors for foamies

What do people do for the interior of foamies? Does it make sense to treat it like the exterior (canvas, fiberglass, etc.), or use wood, paneling, fabric?

I want the "warm" look of wood in TPCE so I will be doing thin 5mm wood ply on the inside walls and ceiling, Okoume marine grade. The walls, floor and future ceiling are all 1-1/2 inch thk blue foam. Well, it's looking more and more like the ceiling will be 2 layers of 3/4 inch thick instead of 1 layer of 1-1/2 inch, but you get the idea.

My cabinets are going to be more traditional than a pure foamie, using 1x2 face frames that add to the structure of the box taking the place of some of the spars in a traditional style build. Cabinet floors will also be the Okoume.

These are what I consider to be the things that make a "Hybrid Foamie"; it's a combination of traditional construction with canvas exterior skin, but no outside ply.

IMO if it has an outside ply covered by canvas then it is a canvas covered traditional, or stick built. Of course there are no rules, just opinion.

Covered my interior with old bedsheets ... looked awful till I rolled on some wall texture and painted it ... Looks like regular wallboard now ... Plain , but homey ‘...
Many decorative touches you can do , all up to your imagination ...

I'm with kc. I like the warmth of wood. I used a 5mm mahogany underlayment that I clearcoated with polyurethane. You can coat it with canvas or about anything else that appeals to you. Lots of choices

I laminated my foam with luaun on the inside. Not the best cut of wood, but cheap, and so far looks acceptable with stain.

How about a stamp of a trailer... Like the scrap book people use?
