Joe , I Like it !!! very “modern” ... Maybe you should encourage her to develop it further ... as an artist , I find sometimes just sitting afar and studying the design :wine: , ideas come for further small definitive “touches” leading to a grand abstract conclusion... all subject to opinion of course ... ... a “work in progress” ... 8) 8) 8)
Big Giant canvas ...she can have lots of Fun with that ... 8) ;)

At a gathering put pots of paint outside and let people have at it.

Wolf , although a good idea , it doesn’t work ... tried it once , found out the general public reverts to paint skills they learned in kindergarten ... and you end up with a mess ... :R
Joes’ wife is on a roll, and should be allowed more “artistic freedom “ ... that way only one person gets the blame ... or Glory ... 8) It’s all just an opinion eh ? ;)

Back to that trailer. It is very cool. Love it. Gonna go back and read the entire thread!

Enjoyed seeing your camper this evening. Very inspiring for my Behemoth build.

Thanks Pete.
The camper worked out great and pulled just fine. I did find out that with just 1/4 plywood and 2 in of foam, the rain will keep you awake. It was loud! I'm happy with it.

You should've hear it on the uninsulated aluminum roof of "The Patrol Box".

WHOO HOO! I finally have the Hut licensed and titled. I lost the original title and there were no VIN numbers on the trailer. Usually when you do a complete rebuild, as I did, the BMV retitles the camper according to the year it was rebuilt. The officer that inspected my camper was "so impressed with the quality of the restoration" that he put the year as 1963. Indiana taxes RV's according to their value, so a 1962 date will result in the lowest possible taxes. Sometimes things work out just fine. Now I can travel without breaking any laws.
Happy camping.

That's awesome! My foamie (if I ever finish) is titled as a 1964, and it does help come tax time!

My next addition will be a TV antenna. I put a TV in for those rainy days while traveling. I thought I was being clever and built an antenna into the skin. It worked while I was in the city, but didn't pick up any stations away from the city.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Joe , I really think you need some kind of small antenna on a pole , that you can rotate for best reception ... Digital signal signals seem to be very directional , and line of sight , unlike the old Good TV ...

Maybe a small satellite dish for the more advanced ...

I mounted one of those "hide-a-way" antennas. It pushes up and opens like an umbrella. In the city it works fine, I'll test it this next weekend. If it doesn't work so good, there is always the dvd player. We like to watch the news...I'll just record it some evening and when we're camping we can watch the news! Problem solved.
It's really not that important because when we camp it's about 50-50 on electric or primitive. The TV/DVD are 110.
