Yes I did. I had the same reaction. 2nd coat was much better. Drying now. We'll see. Could be my lack of painting skills too.

Actually it was a mess too. The foam shelf I worked so hard on doesn't fit between the Thule cabinets. Still the don't look bad this way. The lights were set to the lowest brightness. At full tilt it lights up the entire cabin. It was a led set meant for TVs and runs off of USB. I drilled holes in the tops and sides of the top two cabinets to route the cables and hide the control box. It has a remote and can do various light effects. I'm wiring a 12v plug and a separate 12v USB plug in the front of the cabin. Right at the moment the lights are plugged into my starter/tire compressor pack. I am pleased with the outcome.
