Even as a newbie on these forums, (haven't so much as cut a piece yet) I can see that is impressive, and built impressively fast. :applause:
What previous building knowledge do you have? i.e. have you built boats, cars, houses....?

What is that ducted assembly? HRV unit? 12 volt?

Thanks! The "ducted assembly" is a $112 window AC from Walmart with a manifold built on the front to attach cold and return air ducts.. All credit goes to this thread- AC Hacking a Figidaire 5000 BTU

I worked on a construction crew for 2 years awhile back and I've built quite a few foam RC airplanes.. but I've got no special skills just a lot of thinking and trying.. and I've got some stuff I'm going to do change on it later and a huge file in my head titled "Ideas For The Next One"

Well we were very impressed with the performance and comfort of my little camper this last weekend even with a night and day of steady rain.. There was one small leak around the roof vent which I "fixed" in the middle of the night with a beach umbrellaImage
Of course I came home with a list of things to fix and adjust..
the lady at the campsite next to us let us check out her restored Shasta compact and of course I drove home designing a similar standy in my head

First time foamy build

Postby bamajoe » Wed Oct 19, 2016 2:03 pm

Well we've took a few trips in the camper and about to go on a last of the season trip to the gulf, so I'm trying to finish up cosmetic stuff. ( it seems I never actually finish a project ) here's a few pics..

Painted rims

Added a bike rack

Painted the ceiling and carpeted walls

Also a few small fixes like making the AC hatches better and patching a leak or two..
