First time foamy build

Postby bamajoe » Tue Sep 08, 2015 9:50 am

Picked up some foam from HD yesterday, and got an idea on a design. So here we go! Wish me luck and feel free to give advice!

I'll be using the 2" for walls and the 3/4 for roof. All covered in canvas..

Welcome, and good luck with your build! What design did you have in mind?

"I kinda like the profile on this one, so I'll kinda base my design in that but I'll see what happens as I go along" that's my design so far

Thank you. It's a 30x40.. I bought this place about 4 months ago and VERY quickly filled it up! Buts it's awesome to have a shop. All I had before was a small covered carport...

Cut out all my trailer parts and carted them over to dad-in-laws and welded it all together! Feel like I'm getting somewhere now! Sorry didn't get a pic when finished but here's one almost..

Thanks!
It rained all day but that's the worst of it this time. It's been a stormy winter/spring here in the south! But a rain day or three is good for project progress as I can't work in the rain!

Looks great! From a person who made this error, make sure there is enough gap around your door for all your canvas layers and paint. Easy to take a bit of size off the door now, much harder later.
