Hi Mary! Thanks for your warm welcome and advice.

Yes, I am well acquainted with the mold/mildew issues. I was hoping the titebond would seal the canvas and not be vulnerable to the mold. Id that what you used?

I wasn't sure if I was going to do TBII/canvas and another coat of TBII or gripper.

I used TBII to glue the canvas to The Foam then used gripper then exterior paint. My foamie is very strong. once you put the same on the inside I would never put plywood on the inside. I did make a frame to put on the inside to hang things to. I have been very happy with mine.

Mary, I wish I could see your trailer! It sounds nice.

Can I ask you a few questions about your process? Did you skin the inside walls before you stood them up? Did they stay flat while the canvas dried?
I have read some threads and seem to hear different stories of how flat the wall stayed. If you have written about this before just point me to the thread. Thanks.

I thought I had put my location in earlier but must have missed something, it's there now.

 I guess I can say my build was sorta one with the first refinements. I built my whole trailer for $800. but I can say I really did built it thrifty, I scrounged of junk trash piles everywhere. I didn't have a large purse so I had to in order to get this built. I glued my sides and top together then put the canvas on. I was suddenly in a big hurry right befor the big campout in IN called the CRA it is held every two years and I was in a big hurry to get there. I had so much fun. The canvas was on but I did not cut off the extra material nor do any trimming. It was blowing in the wind. So I say visit Grits on here and have fun, just know that My Brother did help me get rid of the mold and mildue and finish it up. I used his work shop at the time. He had wonderful tools. and the room to finish it in the winter. He decided to put his own touch on it. But it looks fine to me. My build thread is a couple of pages back. Look for Grits, I plan to build a standy next. I now know how to build wiley windows and I have ideas on how to really keep it simple.

Awww Thanks GPW Wonder if you could put that picture you took on my Grits thread, you would make my day if you could.
now, I had no trouble in glueing on the canvas except for the 80 to 90 degrees sun. the glue dried up before I could get the canvas down. I didn't have the shrinkage problems everyone else had except one little place that GPW pointed out to me. but wait that was a year after must have been a stress crack. I put on the glue with a roller and used a plastic scraper to push down the canvas. This is similar to putting on wall paper. no problems. It is a lot easier than you think.
