The thing is , we do disagree, yes, but that’s because we’re THINKING ... The constant search for better ideas ... Intellectual arguments ... We’re all trying to make something BETTER !!!

Having any material fall apart when you don’t want it to can be a most FRUSTRATING experience ... Lets just say we’re all concerned and working to solve this problem ... amicably !!! :D

Sort of an update. Introduced myself to my neighbor down the street. He's into demolition derby stuff. He's agreed to weld the needed parts and additions to the new trailer in exchange for the older trailer. I love free.

Oh, it includes 12 tabs along the frame to mount the floor *and* an extra support under the galley with holes to mount tie downs for the frig.

Will do. I just checked the floor and it's fully dry at the join. So today, I canvas!

At laundry mat running the two drop cloths through a hot wash and hot dry cycle to preshrink. FYI. The Lowes 6x9 does not have a seam.

That’s a good idea ...amazing the first shrinkage of these fabrics ...
Reminds me of the camo shorts I bought at Wal Mart ... Nice baggy summer shorts , after the first washing , they wouldn’t fit a Gerbil :o .... I should bring them back ...

Bonnie , please send the pics ... :pictures:

Tried to glue up the floor yesterday. It was so hot I abandoned the attempt. I will try this evening.

Here's a pic of the joined area. I used rowerwet's method of drilling into the foam to allow more adhesion. Image

Working half the length at a time to lay down a tack coat. That way I can position the canvas and lock it down.

Image

And finished! Well, not really, but the canvas is tacked down and without wrinkles. Back after a short cooling break

And done! Looks pretty spiffy. Will need one more coat of glue and then paint.

Too hot right now. This evening.
