Bought all the latch hardware and foam tape and got the lower half home uneventfully last night. Had an unexpected delay today where all of my neighbours were gone so i had to wait till they were home to lift the top half on. But hopefully i still have time to install the seal and latches today!

Nice looking curves! Seems to be coming along nicely.

Maybe I'm late to the party and you addressed this already and I just missed it, but what is the thinking behind the long overhang in the back? Is it meant to just be some extra shelter for inclement weather, or? Seems like it would be easier just to have a hinged awning that you'd prop out when you're popping up the trailer and getting set up. Why did you go with the always-out option?

Aerodynamics. Or a compromise between aerodynamics and functionality. The old photos explaining it are gone, but that design breaks the vaccum at the back. It should be angled in like this: Image
However that messes with my doors, is harder to do and so on. So this doubles as a shelter from rain, helps with the doors not wanting to leak so bad in the rain and that kind of thing.
It should also have rounded edges along the sides but i forgot when building it. Also the overhang should have either had pointed or rounded ends on it but i made them flat to mount the second set of taillights, license plate and its light, wiring and so on. All of which i havent installed yet

Well that was a crushing dissapointment. A month of work and it doesnt fit. The guy i got to draw this up in CAD and program it to cut on the router never gets dimensions wrong but he did on my project. 4 inches too wide... unbelievable. I guess looking back i should have checked the size against my drawings but he programs stuff all day every day and we never check measurements...
No idea what to do now, its far from aerodynamic which was my goal. Im not sure if cutting 4 inches out of the middle would work. Image

Yes, the last set of pictures are much better. The ones before that made me dizzy (No comments from the peanut gallery, please).

When will we see a nicely sized picture of the roof popped up? Did I miss it?

Ok your trailer design is looking pretty sweet.

But I have to ask, is that blue car going to be the tow vehicle?

Thanks!
Yes, it is. I think ive talked about it a bit in this thread but in short i spent 6 months modifying it to be up to the task and am building this trailer specifically to be towed by this car.
Still no good plans on how to fix my tongue box :(

Glad I'm not the only one! The pictures were gigantic, like 3-4 pages tall but you could only see the far left edge of all the pictures because they were so big...

Youve said that a couple times now, are you referring to those first couple photos weeks ago that were really big or something else?
