Largest Foamie ?

What size is the largest foamie ever built?

Specifying if an internal structure was used or not.

I would think it has to be the FoamStream, by GPW.

This probably isn't the biggest but I think it is pushing the limits. It is 78" wide x 12' at the longest point, about 10' long where it rests on the chassis. About 90" tall from the ground.

It is almost painted completely. One more side to go, that hasn't stopped us from going camping though.

That is awesome! Is the mural hand painted?

Yes, my wife is working on the front. There is another picture of it in the thread about 'Paint protection...' that I just started.

I'll 2nd that comment. You might want to comment on the original question:
Specifying if an internal structure was used or not.

Maybe you have the details on any internal framing in one of your threads, so it might just require a link.

I was just taking some interior pics so you could see the cabinets inside which were built with idea of structural strength in mind.

I have no other threads going about this by the way.

The lower cabinets and drawers are made with 3/4" plywood and screwed to the 3/4" plywood floor using LOTS of 'L' shaped framing fasteners. Upper cabinets are made of 1/4" plywood wherever possible and 1x facing, with special attention paid to gluing and fastening and making them as strong as possible.

All the cabinet backs were 1/4" plywood screwed into the wall with those metal self drilling anchors (glued in with gorilla glue) and also glued against the wall with adhesive caulk like polyseamseal or such.

Also, I hope the pictures show it, there are wall ledgers here and there to hold up the small upper cabinets and the bunk and also to put pegs into. The pegs see a lot of use from, towels, hats, clothes, you name it.

Hopefully this shows how some of it is built. You can barely see the metal connectors where the cabinets meet the floor, I put in as many as would fit, apparently after this photo was taken.

I'll start a thread about my build, called 'Bluebird' and put more photos in that. That way my pics won't be scattered all over the place and devices of mine.

Generally it's good on the highway but there is a concern, occasional sway when a semi passes me especially if the road is not well maintained. I could live with it, but will try some different weight distributions and if it is still bothersome I may see about swayers.

I have not had it in any big crosswinds. It's kind of a heavy foamy. I'm thinking 1,200-1,400 pounds loaded maybe?

Mercury is 6.5x13' ,the walls are 4 feet tall. The only structure is a wall of 2" foam running across at the back of the forward doors, the galley wall, also foam, some plywood strips that are glue bolted to the galley wall and side walls to support the galley shelf, and the galley opening frame for the hatch.
Each main door has a plywood ring that rests on the floor and runs up to support the roof and the spars over the door area.
There are 1x3 roof spars notched into the foam to support the roof, as it has a second story planned but not yet built
