Gentlemen , one of your Basic considerations is the idea of fixing a hole . Although we don’t have anybody on record ( TWR ) that had one , or had to do “repairs” , this has always come up in conversation. For the Canvas , just a “patch” and some glue will do it just like a tent , maybe some spray foam filler ( if needed ? ) , fiberglass screen , seems just the same , no problem, maybe easier ? Fiber glass cloth , done right , deserves to be treated to a good patch job , which requires some tools and the right materials . A slap-on FG patch job , looks pretty nasty on a nice smooth surface . :R And then , it’s not the easiest to get it “Perfect” again. But it’s all in what kind of Look YOU want !!! ;) Like KC says , test it , prove to yourself what materials you have confidence in, and can handle !!!
For the curious , we’re getting ready to do the "Ant patches" on the Foam Stream ( canvas ) , we’ll take pictures and make a full report .

… and JMHO ! We always believed the perfect Foamie trailer paint job was CAMO !!! No need to worry about seams , or “ potato salad Butt” uneven surfaces, or a little bird poop . Being Camo , you look at it , but then you don’t really see it eh … :o And for mine , the dirtier it got , the Better it looked …. ( to me ) 8) Just sayin’ …
There’s no place like Foam !
