With no rain yesterday we got to put the second coat of green paint on the trailer …. all except the rear which got spray foamed in some more to fill the smaller cracks and spaces still visible … This morning we’ll trim that with a serrated knife and apply the canvas over that … which should pretty much finish up the outside repairs … :D

Ps. since the back only needed a little foam , I didn’t want to waste the rest of the can , so we went up in the nose and filled in more kerfing slots with the extra foam … adding more strength and a little more insulation too … It’s pretty well sealed up all over now …

And I put out some Ant traps too … ;)

And for those who haven’t gotten enough pictures yet , here is a couple shots of the back canvas in green prime and finished paint all around the rest… We installed the front nose cards and swept up , ejected a little green frog intending on homesteading… Getting close to done now … There’s going to be a Party at the finish …

And it seems to have been an effective good luck charm against the forces of nature that caused you to build it in the first place! You haven't had to use it for evac yet, IIRC.

Let's hope it's protective charm continues to work.

HMK, Thanks , today we Rest !!! :)

ps. the Wife is Very Happy !!! :D

I do have one concern … those little tires have been on there for many years now … just sitting … thinking maybe a new set wouldn’t be a bad idea eh ? … They don’t look cracked , but they do look “dry” Cheap insurance ... :NC

And now back to the old FoamStream thread …. to continue as “Normal" … :laughter:

We had a real gullywasher come through today , and I was inside watching the water pour off the trailer and directly off to the ground … After the rain quit I felt all around underneath and all was dry … :D Drip edges do work , even these small ones … seems water cannot travel uphill …( except in a plant ) 8)
With the board floor and fully working drip edges , I was telling the wife this should last a really Long time now ...

or , none at all !!!
HMK, Thanks !!! :)

Guys ,the lessons we learned are :

1. Treating all the wood is much easier than replacing it !!! ( Cheaper too )
2. The use of drip edges is much better than wrapping the canvas around and under the floor ( in our wet climate ) .
3. Don’t let birds ( or Ants ) nest in your camper … :o

That’s including the thousands of little things we’ve learned from everyboy who so kindly shared these conversations… A really Big THANKS to Everybody !!! … :applause:
