Found this on YouTube and thought that it had some great ideas for a rear entry foamie. If you built this on a Lowe's/HD type trailer with a loading ramp you could even retain the deck idea  .

Hey gh...that's interesting for sure...now I have to build pontoons for my trailer! But seriously, I saw a homebuilt trailer pass by up on the highway just yesterday...it was like a quonset hut shape in front, covered with galvanised steel, at least 12' long and a deck on the back, at least 6' long. Kind of similar to these ideas...The whole trailer was probably 18-20 feet, with maybe 6' headroom in the center of the cabin area. It's amazing what people will put together, isn't it? Nodrog

Yes, I remember looking at that. Great idea!

The boat in the video was 8.5 feet wide, but I bet it could be narrowed to 8 feet. It you used a trailer with a loading ramp on the back, like in the photo, you could still have a porch while still having a short trailer going down the road.

I’d love to get my hands on one of those trailers ^ … We’re keeping an eye out for one in the area… perhaps used and affordable ... ;)
