[album][/album]Hello All
I'm in the planning and design stage at this moment. My question is this. What size spline for an side to side joint ? ie 4 x8 is now 5 x 8. This for a 1 inch Foamie. I have several sheets of 1/4 inch underlayment. Just wondering if this will work.

1/4" is overkill, 1/8" ply would be more than enough. That 1/4" may be more like 0.20". Too loose a slot means the spline won't do a very good job of lining up the edges. I'm assuming you would use a wing cutter on router to make the slot. Two passes with a thinner cutter would let you get a better fit.

Hey Guys

Pmullen. Yeah I kinda figured it was overkill but wasn't sure. Thanks.

GPW. Here ya go.

Don't let the sketch fool you. The wheels are not located on the rear and the door may be moved to the front. All depends on where the axle lands.

UPR, That’s a Good height !!!
Try putting your sketch file into a Photo program where you can easily adjust the size …
