XPS, EPS and cheap white foam boards

I am ready to start a build but since I am in Canada and the XPS is almost $80 a sheet where I live, anyone tried EPS and even cheap white foam with success? I am planning to build something similar to the square drop and the nano. PMF would be covering the foam. Walls can be up to 3 inch thick and the camper would be 55in wide.

It might have been discussed but my search has been unsuccessful. Thanks

Cheap white foam , EPS, works just fine and is inexpensive … 3” thick walls are Perfect … Strong with PMF and well Insulated !!! Check out the Foam Stream …

EPS sanding tip: sand it like you were petting a cat. Sand in one direction only. A the end of a stroke, lift the sanding block off the surface for the return stroke.

That will minimize tearing out of beads of foam.
