The CNC machined pieces would be nice but beyond most people's abilities. You also have to know CAD to design the cut files.

I'm not crazy about using glass cloth with paint. Glass cloth and epoxy, yes. Canvas and paint yes. If you look closely at the video there are a lot of bubbles and delams all over the trailer, not just at the front.

It does get the message out about the lightweight and low cost of foamies.

Yes, although cool I do think that the jigsaw cutouts are a bit overkill, and possibly a bit more difficult to work with.

Although light I do believe he underestimated is weight at 350lbs. My square drop came in at 372lbs with a single door and window with no wood above the floor. I would put it in the 400-425 range with the extra wood in back and doors on each side. The extra door would add 20lbs to my build weight.

It looked like it was only 4 ft wide, which is really tight for 2. So why have doors on both sides?

Having two doors on a narrow teardrop alleviates the tightness of the interior somewhat. It is easier to climb over a person with a 5 foot wide body than a 4 foot wide body.

My point was that his 45" interior width is too narrow for 2 people, so if it's a solo camper why two doors?

So, if a bear is at one door, you can go out the other!

It's almost funny to pull a tape measure out to 22.5" and consider a human being in that space. :frightened:

Almost.

 We had a 4'-wide, and we loved it. And then we got a tour of a 5'-wide, and I was making sawdust three weeks later.

Some Scotty 'full sized' beds are 44" wide.
Also, bunk beds in submarines are 22" wide.
My camping cot pad (think tent camping) was 21" wide.

When I had two dogs, they slept crosswise and left me with just 22".

It can be done. :)
