When Is Your Tear's Birthday & How Will U Celebrate?

Birthday: the first time you took the whole Tear (not just the trailer) on a public road/street. :D

You know, a teardrop's birthday... well, it's kinda like children... you think about it, plan for it, try to concieve one and then one day you finally find out you'll have your own! Then it takes months of patience, and work and things change , you think you're 'done' (like when the child moves out) but then there is always something else coming along or life changes! hahaa

Well, my Jewel Box's conception was on Mar 17 2006, when the trailer was picked up .. so I guess there's another reason to have a Guinness that day. But the first time on the road was just a pull around a couple of city streets, late night before leaving for LCG the next day .
So maybe each year I should drive it out that night and have a glass of wine or something, then party w/ Madjack at LCG !
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

I have a small brass plate in the galley with May 2006 engraved on it so I guess the whole month is it's Birtearday, Danny

Hmmmm my "standy" was made in '67, I bought it in 2005, and my nephew was concieved in it in September 2006 so I think I am going to celebrate a conception date! Thus the name "La Siesta del Sobrino" The Nap of the Nephew it is a Siesta Trailer.

Our TRLR 4 2 has it's birthday on June 16th.....It was rolled into our garage from its shop where it was created and made road worthy on that date in June 2005. We had it completed enough to take it out on its first road trip believe it or not to the 1rst ITG in Minden, Nebraska....Were we crazy or what! When we got on the road we said we will either come home towing it or it will be coming home on a flat bed....Well, it came home still being towed and we have the best memories ever of it's maiden voyage....We finished off all the details in the galley when returned home from Minden and have had many memory making trips ever since........This June 16th it will be celebrating its 2nd birthday at the Vintage Trailer Ralley in Brooks, Oregon.........What a great addition to our family it has been...............

Mine was on the road for the first time TODAY (March 15, 2007) so I guess that must be it's birthday.. It's 99.5% complete. Just needs a little trim and the air conditioner ducts made.
