which do you prefer

I am curious as to how many people prefer using metal or wood for thier teardrop?

I think Rich is asking, which framing you are referring to. The cabin framing? or the frame underneath?

Standard practice is metal frame (where the axle and tongue is attached) with wooden cabin framing (walls).

You can do it the other way around but it isn't as common.

    For certain practical reasons as to location of use, the Alaska Teardrop is built using steel tubing.
