What do you really want in your second trailer?

Just wondered what you guys think is the optimal equipment for a TTT, especially if you are thinking about number 2.

I know a lot of people east of the MS think about a canned ham for their second trailer. What is it that you really want when you think about your second trailer?

I would have to say a Dinette and stand up room would have to be the main reason for building a second. The wife doesn't much care for small areas. She is warming up to the tear because it's larger than the ones she's seen in person.

The thing that really slows me down from starting no. 2, aside from winter coming, is the only major changes would be thicker walls (from 3/4 insul to 1 or 1.5 insul) and light weight..... either I was lucky or smart, but I'm pretty happy with what I built, just too heavy. I suspose there would be some additional tinkering, like the a/c would come out and sit on the the ground (remote), but basically, if I did not build another one, I could be quite happy.

I checked "Bed, Galley, Dinette & Porta-potty", because I would like to have all that stuff, and more. The problems is, I also want it to weigh 1000 pounds, and have even less wind resistance than my current teardrop. Seems impossible, so that's why I haven't started building....just plotting in my mind at this time.

It all depends on what I tow it with.

If I am going to pull it with a full size pickup, then I could have all sorts of luxuries, but that defeats my original purpose: an inexpensive, gas effecient camping system.

But, if I pull it with a small car, my current design is good.

Unfortunately, the final decision is simple math, and the pickup may win, and the current tear may stay -- durn the contradictions of life.

I would build my 2nd one lighter. For caution sake, I built my 1st one like a tank.

I would also make allowances in the wall to temporarily mount an A/C. Other than that, I'm satisfied. I can stand up in mine and I can access the galley from inside the tear's sleeping area.

Mike has one that lives across the street from him and is always wearing a bikini. That's one of the reasons he kept making mistakes while building the Baja Benroy. He even put her on his web cam so we could all see.

I am going to be building a Tiny Trailer like the little red Knaus. I drafted out the frame. framing, floor, cabinets, and electrical. I went to find all those drawings the other day and all I could find was the cabinets!! I guess I get to start over, I don't think the porta potty is a reality for mine but the bed, dinette definately are.

only thing I need is a nice looking, sweet man preferably in construction or knows how to fix things and tinker.... and good with his hands.
