Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Just wondering how most people store their teardrop. I keep mine inside, but am considering moving it outside because of space. If you keep yours outside, tell us how you store it, how long have you been storing it like that, and how it is holding up.

I store mine outside, it is parked under an oak tree on a road base (gravel) pad with a 8x6 tarp covering it. Been that way for over a year, seems to be fine.

No cars can fit in my triple garage, but the tear has never seen the rain.

I usually keep mine in the garage but It has been outside since LCG. I want to build a pole barn extension on the side of my shed to keep it under. You know like those carport looking extensions next to a barn, the ones you keep the tractor under. I was considering sewing up a cover but I don't think my machine can handle thread heavy enough.

Now all I need to find is some motivation and materials.

I keep my teardrop under a lean to I put on the side of the garage.
I had some plastic panels I bought years ago for another project and never got around to using them, and they sat in the garage for years.
I started the td and it was covered for 1 winter under a tarp in backyard.
So I thought if I got some 2x4's and 4x4's I could make a roof for it. The side walls are stockade fencing. Someday when I build a bigger garage I'll keep it in that, but until then this will have to do.

I have a large jetted tub and mostly because we have three girls in the family. I've never ran out of hot water.

I keep mine outside, and covered with a car cover in the camping season, but in one of these



over the winter. Once its inside the building I cover it with the car cover as well.

I built a 6x10 heated garage for my tear and a 8x16 heated garage for my car, and they stay warm and cozy all winter unless they get worked on.
