What is your choice?
Myself, I've never cared much for mustard on anything, I prefer ketchup and mayo on a hot dog.

Yucky mayo should never touch food a fine as a hotdog. Mustard, ketchup, onions. Snack time.

PS you would probably like em with coleslaw too.

Gotta be mustard. Mayo should only be used on BLT's, turkey sandwich and tuna fish. Or whip but that's another poll. *ducks and covers*

Here are my choices in order of preference:

1 Chili & Cheese
2 Chicago Style: poppy seed bun, mustard, onion, sweet pickle relish, dill pickle spear, tomato wedges, sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt No ketchup and the relish is a weird neon green.
3 Kraut & Mustard
4 Mustard Ketchup Relish Onion

Brown mustard goes down on the bun~ if it is catchup only, it won't be fun.

Being a person that likes spice on the pallet, finding bland catchup is
lacking on a dog or sausage unless hot sauce is incorporated, like a swat
team would be brought in to finish an intolerable situation.

Going to COSTCO, and after shopping ... stepping uP to the food window
and asking for a Polish sausage combo and giving them about $1.73 and
then filling my 16 oz refillable cup with a drink, I then go to construct and
fill the bun of my Polish meal of pleasure.

My usual duty is to use the brown grain mustard, NOT the yellow and have
that brown line, go from one end to the other of the Polish bun-ned
delight, followed by relish to mingle with the brown spices of the mustard,
only when the onion pieces flood the bun covering the first too items does
the meal seem right with the world. Hand packing the onion without getting
mustard or relish on the palm is the right amount of onion.

Setting in the California sun during a Santa Anna in February in 78 degrees
and having such a treat is a joy that I would wish any retiree as well as
those persons that would hope for the freedom of shopping mid week on a
quiet afternoon. People watching, can be nice in the warmth of sun when
other parts of the country would find hot dogs or sausage not to be proper
fair at this time of year.

Just two ways...

GOOD: Mustard, Slaw, Onions and Cholula Hot Sauce.

BETTER: Mustard, Slaw, Onions and Hellish Relish... from the fine folks that make Dat’l Do-it Hot Sauce.

Both but there MUST also be some mayo. If I have my choide though I want a "Junkyard Dog". Anything and everything. Chillie, cheese, onion, krout, relish, slaw, peppers, ... oh and the kitchen sink. You will probably have to eat it with a fork.
