I started building a new one and had hoped to pull it to the IRG.
I called it Cross Bow because it's front does not curve up and down but left and right.
As I got closer to the end and it was suggested I put on a Trolley top I changed the name to The Little Blue Trolley.

But I am pulling the Box Kite to the IRG my wife pointed out it had no kitchen yet and it anything had to be done it was the kitchen. So she pulled the plug and after the IRG I will work on her kitchen.

Pass one of these everyday and thought that will be our name when built.

I designed the whole trailer in my head, then built it as (mostly) planned in my head. The galley hatch was designed to have no upward facing seams to bother with sealing, and no issues with bumping my head on an overhead hatch.
the first time I tested the hatch open I saw the shape looked just like the little wings drawn onto the feet of Mercury (the greek mythology guy) I had another name before that, but the tear named itself.

We named our Conch Fritter because we live in Florida, like the Keys and love eating conch fritters. So the decor goes along with that. Inside the wife made crochet wall hangings that look like nets with little fish and stuff. Cabinet doors have glued on shells and star fish and I'll be building the pirate chest front storage this winter.

I named my trailer Squareback cause it's not a Teardrop and it has a square back. I could've easily did a Teardrop as I am a cabinetmaker and have a CNC that can cut up to 48 x 120 sheet goods but I wanted to do something different. It's almost finished, adding back doors today and adding accessories like fold down table tops and speakers and flood lights that go up to 8 feet.

Here's a rear view of the "Squareback" 8)

Although we won't actually get our TC Teardrop delivered until July, she already has a name: "The Dew Drop Inn". She will also be known as the "Do Drop In" since we expect lots of visitors to our beautiful new home.
Can't wait to actually camp in her!

While I usually refer to it as the "Little Trailer", I call it the "Tomabago", there have been several vehicles with that name. The first was a ford van that i modified to have a bed in the back. It was called that by a friend that I camped with often, after that I got a older class A motorhome ( it was probably 20 years old when I got it), then after the engine blew up, a class C. No the TD gets the honor.

My wife is from China......
Years ago when I was building our teardrop, I asked her how she would say "teardrop" in Chinese. I can't really accurately write it here, but it was very easy to Americanize it and the name became....

After a few years of building our teardrop it will have two names High Country as my first post in this thread. Plus it will be named after the Johnny Cash song One Piece at a Time. Since I've incorporated item's brought home from work and it's also getting built one piece at a time. I've been building for a few years now. I get one piece done and how I want it and run out of work time.
