The last few times we went on vacation we never turned on the TV at all. I brought a book to read, never even cracked it open. Too busy enjoying our vacation to waste it watching the boob toob. I brought my laptop to download pictures off the camera, that was the only thing we used it for.

No TV but we do have a DVD player, I believe it's a 10" screen. Doesn't get much use tho.

I use my teardrop for more than just camping, Tail gating at Nascar or Football games, I also take it to cruise night and watch the race or sporting events. I take my grandaughter to events and is good to keep her busy when she gets restless in goes baby einstien or cartoon movie, so there's alot of uses to have a TV and you don't have to turn it on but its there.

Direct TV

Postby starleen2 » Wed Aug 15, 2007 9:53 pm

We take along our direct TV satellite dish with us. Can’t pick up local channels, but can still get a lot of programming. We use a 13 inch color TV with AV inputs so our 11yr can play games at night if she wants.

I'm waiting for Roly to chime in here... his tv / satalite dish has to be one of my favorite setups.

No TV yet...but in all fairness...I tend to listen to radio or read much more than I watch TV. I did build in space, and electical connections, for a laptop or TV in the cabinets though....

I've got a 14" with two 4 year olds they get board easy so it's nice to have DVD's for them to watch. I've yet to watch a movie on it. I have put CD's in and listened to them though. Gotta have my music

We go camping to get away from all that stuff. I fail to understand why you would want to watch TV when there is so much you can do, regardless of the weather.

3.5" but it's not a TV. Plays videos, music and has wi-fi. More than big enough for the teardrop. I also bring the laptop along.
